What to bring with you for your dog/s holiday

Your dogs usual diet, bagged up into portions or for longer stay in an airtight container with your own measuring cup clearly marked. Container to be clearly labelled with clear feeding instructions. Specific times of feed IE morning evening midday etc and what treats if any that you regularly treat them with between meals, We feel that feeding your dog its usual diet is what is the best for your loved one to avoid any upset and change to its diet, this will help in keeping your dog in the same condition throughout their stay. We have dry storage areas and a fridge freezer for all animal food.

We recommend that you bring a couple of their favourite toys, your dogs own regular bed, and two blankets as a minimum for a 1 week stay, one to put in the room and one as a spare. This will enable us to have your dogs bedroom holding smells that they are familiar with, and this will make them feel comfortable and at home helping to make our rooms feel like home from home.

We provide toys at no extra cost this helps to keep our pets occupied and busy especially the food puzzles. We recommend that you don't bring anything sentimental to you or your family in case it gets damaged. All items left are at your own risk. Heavily soiled items will have to be hygienically destroyed if beyond being cleaned and sterile.

Animal welfare is at the core of our business practice, and we take it extremely seriously. We adhere to a strict hygiene and cleaning regime which we carry out daily. Our guests have close contact with people from early in the morning until late at night and are let out for regular walks and are given play times and walks. Extra walks and play times can be added to enhance your dogs stay with us by using the different packages we offer. Individual requirements can also be added on to your dogs stay.

In the spring, summer & autumn months, we take doggy guests to join walking by the side of Barton Marina Lake which is a lovely peaceful area for walking our dogs and where most enjoy a good paddle to cool down. Our secluded 1.8-acre grounds are securely fenced and completely safe, so your dog can run around and play freely in our dedicated play areas whether with others or by themselves with our staff members for company. In hot weather we have small cold pools, portable aircon unts and mobile fans to help keep our pet friends nice and chilled out.

All dogs when taken outside of their kennels will wear highly visible identity collars identifying that they are guests of our Kennels as an added precaution. We are fully insured for all our activities with our pet friends.

We also offer a collection and delivery service if you are struggling to get your dogs to us for their holidays. Features of dog transport include: Equipped with fitted different sized transport cages to transport all different sized dogs safely and comfortable. We also have harness seat belts for all types of dogs. The transport area is cleaned thoroughly with disinfectant and the bedding is changed after each dog trip as to maintain high standard and safe travel.
